Garment Care Instructions
To preserve the longevity, color, and craftsmanship of your garment, please follow these care guidelines:
Washing
- Wash separately to avoid color transfer, especially for naturally dyed garments.
- Hand wash gently in cold water using a mild, chemical-free detergent.
- If using a washing machine, select the gentle cycle only.
- Do not bleach or use harsh chemicals, as they may damage delicate fibers and natural dyes.
Drying
- Do not wring or twist the garment.
- Dry in shade to retain the garment’s color and fabric integrity.
Ironing
- Iron on the reverse side to protect prints, textures, and embellishments.
Special Care
For garments with zari (kasavu) and hand-embellishments, we strongly recommend professional dry cleaning.
Natural Characteristics
Slight irregularities in weave, texture, and color are part of the handwoven and naturally dyed process. These are not considered defects, but rather a reflection of artisanal craftsmanship.
We kindly encourage you to follow these care instructions to keep your garment looking its best. Since each piece is thoughtfully handmade, we are unable to take responsibility for any damage caused by improper care.
